DC Wedding PlannERS

The goal isn’t
Pinterest Perfection

It’s an amazing party surrounded by the people you love most, screaming along to your favorite songs with a drink in your hand.

You don’t
know what you don’t know.

All the small details, the decisions you didn’t see coming, the sea of vendors to vet. It’s a lot. You know the feeling you want, but getting there?

You need an expert. Someone who can take the chaos off your plate, make sure nothing falls through the cracks, and help you craft a day you and your guests won’t stop talking about.

A wedding planner who actually gets it

From our very first meeting, we stand by you and your vision. We ask questions before we make suggestions. We listen before we lead. Because at the end of the day, this is about making your wedding feel unmistakably, unapologetically you.

When you work with us, you can expect:

Confidence that someone has your back and will make this thing happen

Relaxation, knowing the stressful part of coordinating everything is off your plate

The freedom to be lost in the bliss of the day, not the details

Go be a guest at your own wedding. We’ve got you.

Let's do this

The Process

01

Phase one: foundations

Your budget. The basics of your vision. Let’s start laying the groundwork for everything you need to make this thing happen.

02

Phase two:
Vendors

We put together your A-Team. Vendors who align with your vision and vibe. The professionals who will run the show while you bask in your day.

03

Phase three:
Design

How do you want your wedding to look and feel? In this step we add the ‘unique’ factor to your wedding– planning out your personal touches.

04

Phase Four:
Logistics

The ‘make it happen’ step. We’ll lay out a timeline, plan out the rehearsal, and actually bring it all together on your big day.

Our Happy Couples

"Kristy is a true professional who really knows her stuff and we immediately felt comfortable with her from the beginning.

She was very approachable and LGBTQ friendly. Overall, Kristy and Jacob really went above and beyond in so many ways in the planning process and during the wedding and we remain grateful to them for making our day so special.”

Mer & Carlyn

"We had total confidence after meeting with Kristy and seeing how organized and thoughtful she was about the wedding process.

It was so nice to have two people along for our wedding planning 'ride' that we had total confidence in and who cared about what we cared about: us expressing ourselves most authentically throughout our wedding celebration.”

CJ & Barkley

"Our wedding was incredible, beautiful and reflected exactly who we are as a couple."

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer services outside of the DC area? +

Absolutely! We’re willing and able to travel anywhere in the US and abroad. Estimated travel costs will be included in your proposal after our consultation call.

What's the difference between planning and coordination? +

These terms are often used interchangeably; however, we distinguish them as:

Planning is the work done before the wedding to secure all the necessary parts, such as venue, vendors, decor, attire, etc.

Coordination is the execution of those plans and making sure everything flows smoothly.

When thorough planning meets well-executed coordination? That’s when the magic happens!

What's the difference between a wedding coordinator and a venue coordinator? +

Typically, a venue coordinator is responsible for managing venue staff and ensuring the venue stays in working order.

A wedding coordinator will coordinate and manage ALL logistics and design details with your entire vendor team, as well as support you and your wedding party on the day of.

A great wedding coordinator will not only make your life easier and stress-free but will also streamline and simplify the jobs of the entire vendor team (including the venue coordinator!). This allows each vendor to bring their A-game to the wedding and results in a positive experience for everyone.

Do you offer day-of coordination? +

Yes, though “day-of coordination” is a bit of a misnomer, as no good coordinator will only work day-of. There is a lot of pre-work that goes into making your day run smoothly.

We call this option “Coordination Only” and services start 3 months before your wedding day. You can book this package up to 1 year in advance.

Who will I be working with? +

For Full Planning, you can expect to work with Kristy, Destiny, or Angela.

For all other packages, Destiny, Angela, or Alexandra will most likely be your lead coordinator.

How much do your wedding services cost? +

Below is an outline of our starting prices. Pricing is largely determined by guest count and venue location.

- Coordination Only starts at $4,000.
- Signature Support starts at $7,000.
- Full Planning starts at $14,000.

Custom packages are available and pricing may vary for occasions like elopements and micro weddings.

Are you licensed and insured? +

Yes! We have a business license and liability insurance, which we can provide to venues as needed.

Do you offer set-up and tear-down services? +

We will help place items rented from us and DIY items such as your guest book, card box, and signs, but we do not set up or take down chairs, tables, linens, arches, etc. These services are typically offered by your venue, caterers, or rental company.

Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples? +

Yes! We’re an LGBTQ-owned business and over 20% of our couples identify as LGBTQ+. Inclusivity is one our core values and we pride ourselves on our assumption-free approach to planning and work with couples regardless of their race, religion, sexuality, or gender.

Are you a nice person? Then we’d love to help you plan your wedding!

I'm planning my wedding from a distance, can you still work with me? +

Absolutely! Planning a wedding from afar can be tough for couples and we’re happy to help.

My wedding is in 2 months, is it too late to book you? +

As long as we have availability, you can still book me our Coordination Only package.

How early do you arrive on wedding day? +

It depends! Typically, we arrive 2-4 hours before the ceremony, and we stay until tear down is done.

The wedding of your
dreams
is the wedding
you dream up.

If you don’t want it, we don’t do it. It’s that simple.
